This is an easy egg salad. You don't have to use the pickles, Daddy doesn't like them, so when I'm making it for him, I leave them out.
Egg Salad Sandwiches
Egg Salad Sandwiches
4 hard boiled eggs*, mashed with a fork
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
pinch of salt, pepper and paprika
2 Tablespoons sweet pickles (optional)
1/4 cup mayonnaise (add more or less depending on how creamy you like your egg salad)
Combine all in a bowl and spread on toasted bread and enjoy.
To serve at a special event like a Tea Party or Baby Shower: butter bread slices with softened unsalted butter and then spread the egg salad onto the bread. You can also decorate the edges of the sandwiches by spreading butter onto the cut edges of the bread and then dipping them into chopped parsley.*To make perfectly hard-boiled eggs: place eggs into pot, cover with cold water, place on stove, cover and bring to a boil. Turn off the stove and set timer for 15 minutes. Pour out hot water and rinse with cold water. You can keep them in the fridge or crack them and use them for potato salad or egg salad or tuna salad.
Enjoy!

I'm going to stop right now with what I'm doing and prepare myself with a delicious egg salad sandwich. Glad I had a grocery yesterday.
I love salad and I'm doing to prepare myself with a delicious egg salad sandwich. thanx for share.
This was a great way to use of some eggs that were needing used. The only think I did differently was that I used chopped red onion instead of the flakes because I like the crunch they add.
Put the servings down to 2 since it was just the husband and me. Had to add a little bit more mayonnaise for personal preference (something you can eyeball). Overall, this was great!
Great idea for rush breakfast and also good for snacks smart one.Thank you for sharing.
My only subs were celery salt for seed and 1 chopped green onion for minced. Great and tasty egg salad. Thanks for posting Tara, and thanks for recommending this Breezermom. It satisfied my urge for egg salad today.
I remember the time when I made a recipe like this..But it was a long time ago, but I still remember the taste, its very yummy. Im going to make a salad again. Thanks
All are Quite tasty and unique. Decrease the paprika and don't forget the salt & pepper.
I love the taste of eggs, but I hate the smell of it. What are some healthy egg sandwich recipes that will hide the smell of eggs?
This recipe is delicious! I didn't use the onion and added a bit more mayonaise and less dill and it came out perfect. Thanks!
I doubled the mayo, halved the Dijon mustard, and omitted the onion and salt. It was delicious! I served it on toasted honey wheat bread as an open faced sandwich. I'll definitely make this again.
I cheated a little and only used the items I had on hand, therefore no onion and no paprika. Made it for a picnic/potluck and it was a hit! Was hoping to have leftovers, but it was cleaned out! I guess that's good and bad.
yummy! I love this recipe! I use this everytime I make egg salad. Its quick, easy and tasty!
