Tara's Chewy Cake

Tara and I go way back.  She and her Momma are fantastic cooks and can whip up great meals!  Here's one of my favorites she used to make when we were younger:

Chewy Cake
2 cup flour
3 eggs
1 box brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup pecans

Beat butter and brown sugar together.  Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.  Add sifted flour, mix well.  Add pecans, mix well and pour into a 9x13 pan.  Bake at 300 degrees F until done.
